Girls Nordic Ski Win Second State Championship - Boys Take Fifth
The Girls Nordic Ski team win their second State Championship in program history! They overcame a six-point deficit going into the final race to edge Duluth East for the top spot in this year's State Meet. With the win, Girls Nordic Ski became the first team in school history to win multiple state titles. In the individual pursuit - Molly Moening finished 3rd, Hanna Koch 12th, and Chloe Koch 20th. Rayna Axelson and Silja Earl-Torniainen finished 4
th
in the relay.
The boys also had a big day, finishing 5
th
in a very competitive field! In the individual pursuit - Davis Isom finished 2nd, Gavin Roberts 27th, and Ben Martin 52nd. Alex Pfankuch and Max (Shaggy) Reemstma finished 6
th
in the relay.
